This year’s 2009 US Open Championship Golf Tournament is being held in Farmingdale, NY at the Bethpage State Park Golf Black Course. Last year’s Championship featured two long time friends facing off in an 18 hole playoff, however, both Tiger Woods and Rocco Mediate were still tied after the playoff.
This was one of the gutsiest performances ever witnessed in Golf history as a limping Tiger Woods eventually edged by Rocco Mediate to claim his third US Open Championship title. This year Tiger is still the favorite, finally notching his first win of the 2009 season just the weekend prior. Tiger missed only 7 fairways off the tee and seems that absolutely nobody can touch him (once again).
