I’ve said for the past 18 months or so that John McCain, American Hero who ran for President in 2000, is a very different man than the John McCain who ran for President in 2008. His nomination of Sarah Palin as VP candidate was the last straw for me to respect him as a “straight shooter” and today, he continued his extremist-pandering partisan ways by announcing his intent to vote against the confirmation of Sonia Sotomayor to the US Supreme Court.
